| I love Wilmington!
I have, almost from the day I arrived from San Francisco
14 years ago. Though I've lived in many interesting and
exciting places, Wilmington North Carolina stands alone
in my mind for its unique beauty, vibrant culture and charm,
while still maintaining a refreshing small town quality.
When I arrived here, the Historic District's
real estate revitalization effort was in its infancy. Since
then it has blossomed into what is often referred to by
the national media as "one of the most desirable places
to live in the entire United States." I'm very proud
to have been a small part of that transformation. My training
as an artist has allowed me to create paintings that are
a reflection of my sense of this wonderful community and
provided me a means by which to share those feelings with
others.
It's particularly rewarding for me to
have my work hanging in the homes and offices of friends
and clients, as well as in public venues such as the New
Hanover County Library. I owe a great debt to this city
for receiving me as one of its own. As I've often said,
"I'm not from here, but I got here as quickly as I could!"
Becoming involved in the Wilmington real
estate market has been a great addition to my other interests.
I really enjoy showing new people all the wonderful qualities
of this great town, while helping them choose the new home
best suited to their unique needs.
Attention to detail, enthusiasm and a
customer service attitude are what you can count on from
me, Chappy Valente, with your real estate needs.
I've turned the business of buying and
selling property into an artform!
